Only At Night

        The moon arose dimly and casted long eerie shadows around my room.
I laid there as i always did every night...clutching the sheets in fear.
I prayed that my ears would silence the sound of the click from the doorknob...but it was like the roar of a volcano.

I darkened the room more with just the closing of my lids, in hopes that you would think me asleep and not disturb my slumber...mercy, you have not.
The cold, stiff linens became as hells fires when i felt your body discover mines.

I opened my eyes and saw the lust you held for me seeping through your paws, and became instantly afraid.
Your hands silently but eagerly violated my flesh and your lips sucked every ounce of virtue from my body.

Silent rivers poured from my mind's gateway, and soaked my sweat-stained linens.
The sound and feel of your breath upon my skin were like needles penetrating the very flesh you panted for.

When you have reach your lust's limit...you leave just as swift as you arrived, and i am left shivering, soiled and hidden in the deep darkness of the night.
In the morning, we will continue your charades of being one big happy family, and you know damn well that we are not.

How is it that we have the same blood running through our veins?
The difference is, your blood boils over when you touch me at night...
         but mines freezes over at the glimpse of dust...
                    ...because...
              It Only Happens At Night.
