Her soul embrace

When you truly love someone, you love more than who they are and what they do. You love their very being, their soul.

She seemed to be made of the cosmos

Wearing a dress that glimmered

Silver and white

Like starlight

And I had become lost

In the constellations of her eyes

They reminded me of the universe

So vast and deep

And unknowable

Somewhere, hidden inside its depths

Was her soul

And every part of me

Wanted to find it

To embrace it

To love it
