AriesA Poem by Moonie~martyr Mars' masquerade~
In the aftermath of
dawn's sweet rapture, when the city lights lie flickering like candle wicks, and your honey-hued hair capture the rays of the newborn sun, I am reminded of countless nights of drinks and debauchery on riversides blessed with tourmaline springs, and woodcraft magic, where supple tree shoots shoot in a chlorophyll frenzy for the plum skies of midnight, and satyrs lock horns in marshes during fights under martyr Mars' masquerade of mass genocide. In those watery forests I am plagued with magical visions of you, lulling me to sweet sleep, from which I'd wake dew-kissed and hungover as if fairies had their way with me, and chocolate wines of decadent yesteryears filled me up, like a lover made of spirits, who still can't sate, that which one boy could quench in mere moments. © 2022 MoonieAuthor's Note
