Half an hour

Half an hour

A Poem by Black Jess

Stealing the little moments out from a busy day, scheduling the ''half hours'', makes a difference and makes the day full and rich, and not just about work.

Half an hour in the morning after fajr for spiritually
Half an hour before work for hobbies (read, sketch, journal)
After work, walking back home or go jogging for half an hour
Reading a book for half an hour before sleeping

Half an hour slips away unnoticed when scrolling, but it's so meaningful while doing something valuable, it weighs, it matters, it makes a difference

It’s the consistant small things that make a big change, half an hour everyday is better than nothing at all.

I agree, as to half hours, Jess.

There are so many of us that luxuriate in time we shouldn't have. And there are those yet that need to steal it in order to have enough to enjoy.

What a humbling piece of writing, Jess.

Many thanks for sharing.

Writing is my escape. I want to be lost in a world made of books, tea and rainy days. We need never be ashamed of our tears, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of earth, overly.. more..
