Already Sinking

Already Sinking

A Poem by Nat
"

This poem is based on my feelings about politics in the US.

"

Why would I sink if it were the end.

Floating from debris into a sky of calla lilies,

searching within deep remorse.

Why does the world breathe evil?

Flailing at the whims of temptation.

In a world filled with disguise .

It's no wonder we’re all unhappy.

Though they say shedding a tear will take any pain,

a heart won’t shed until it dies.

The world full of malicious saviors against mere mortals

When will it end?

Will it end if I sink?

But what happens if I’ve already sunken?
