Even Leaving Leaves a TraceA Poem by NathNOT about relationships and not necessarily self-harm related.
They say that wounds will heal with time
But that process does sure take a while. And afterwards even, when the gash is gone The scar is still where the wound was once. Thus, a wound does never merely disappear Instead it just turns into a scar as it heals. xxxxx They claim that scars evetually fade But they're still there, ever so faint These traces that time left will remain The only possible change, one of shade. xxxxx Because even though the scars will stay For now and for ever, never going away, It's possible still that perhaps the pink pales Getting lighter and brighter and less visible, But nevertheless, still ever telling this tale: That nothing leaves without leaving a trace. xxx © 2011 NathAuthor's Note
