Wishful ThinkingA Poem by Nathan1289Sometimes what we want alludes us for a reason.......
Tick tock, tick tock time has a boring beat.
I sit here waiting in a cardboard room, praying for the colours to leak. Suddenly a flash of bright white light, and the room begins to change. The walls start to drip with rainbow tears, in a moment that's poetically strange. Is this a dream or pure reality, I beg for the answers please? Suddenly the walls begin to peel, and I'm deserted on the reckless seas. Alone in a boat I drift to an island, in search of a human touch. Surrounded by colour with no one in sight, it's regret thats within my clutch. Dreaming of colour is a dangerous thing, especially when dreams come true. Open your mind to illusions and reality, and common sense will push on through.
