Just star-crossed lovers

I get it now;

It took so long

Truly though,

I knew all along

I am loved….

Just not as much

I guess I sensed it

Through the touch

No hard feelings

It’s you and her

We’re just star crossed lovers;

What people prefer

Unlike most, this I can handle

The love just burn out

Like the wick of a candle
