Hanging TreeA Poem by OctaviousI was listening to the song.
Are you, are you coming to the tree?
where we will hang, side by side in glee, our faces both frozen in happiness and greed The greed for the perfect moment, nothing but good memories, One by one we count, we count those on the hanging tree only jumping down when they have that perfect memory. Its not selfish, nor is it weak, its the gift of the hanging tree Sorrow and pain is not a place for me, nor is accepted from those who want to hang on the hanging tree. Year by year they come, and swing with the wind's dancing routine, until they root, and fall though their necklace of glee Their are two waiting for you and me, Are you, are you coming to the tree? were we will hang, side by side in glee, our faces both frozen in happiness and glee The ground will crunch from those who turns are done, but one day we will fall and be with them, its better to know them now, so come and be with. we can make a perfect moment, and fill our heads with nothing but good memories, and then we can jump to the hanging tree, please please come with me. Are you, are you coming to the tree? were we will hang, side by side in glee, our faces both frozen in happiness and glee Are you, are you coming to the tree? So then forever we can swing, Strange things have happened Lying will not be your memory of me, but once or twice, good things have come from this hanging tree and another will come as we swing in deathly glee. © 2015 OctaviousAuthor's Note
