"The Shattered Heart"A Poem by Neha agrawalA bleeding poem of broken trust, where every whispered 'I love you' was just another lie. Now all that remains is a vow: never again.
I gave you love ,raw, real, and blind,
Trusted your words, touch, sighs. But every kiss was a lies, And every vow was just a disguise. I saw the signs but looked away, Too scared to face the truth. Your phone lit up with names at night, It warned me but i was a fool that time. You swore it was "just friends," just talk, But shadows don’t lie"I caught the glow. The way your voice would drop so low, A secret dance I didn’t know. Then came the proof I couldn’t flee" A stranger’s scent still on your skin. The jokes you shared, the texts you’d send, The love you stole, the trust you pinned. Now every memory strikes sharp, The way you smile and hold me tight, While giving someone else the night You break me and called it right. I’ll pick the shards up one by one, But never trust the way I did. You turned my heart to shattered stone The next girl gets the lies you hid. So take your games, your hollow art, Your half-truths wrapped in lace. You burned me once"I’ll learn the taste, And never let love break my pace. © 2025 Neha agrawalReviews
