Not All Love Poems CryA Poem by Neha agrawal
Not all love poems cry.
Some just sit beside you quietly, like your hand on my knee on a drive with no destination. Some love poems don’t even rhyme. They show up as a half-burnt toast you still ate, or the way you remember I hate coriander but love mint. Some days, love isn’t loud. It’s a text that says “reach home?” or you pulling the blanket to cover the part of me I forgot. Not all love poems are written after heartbreak. Some happen while brushing teeth side by side, laughing with foam in our mouths, and knowing we’ll be late but together. I guess what I’m trying to say is you’re my favorite poem, the kind that doesn’t cry, just… stays. © 2025 Neha agrawal |
