Let the despair drown.

Rain

Let it fall, let fall the rain,

Falling from the high gray sky,
As if even the angels would cry,

To sooth away my pain,

If they didn’t cry,

I would’ve abandoned my heart,

Broken and torn apart,

I could just die,

What have I done?

For this to fall upon me,

Oh how I miss you,

Now that you are gone,

Gone to a better place,

You left my side,
Left me alone against the raging tide,

Left my life without grace,

Life goes on I was told,

But hers was mine,

And mine was hers,
I cannot continue walking down this road,

So here I stop,

As my tears finally drop,

I will go on no more,

For I will not love, nevermore,

Let the rain drown,

My weak side that cannot be shown,

Let it run down my cheek,

It is the only relief I seek.

Hi, this is one of the writing i actually wrote in my free time, i actually do not have any experience in any writing of any sort, and English is not my native language, so it may have numerous flaws, but please do enjoy, and review my work, because i do wish to become better at this ^^
