Taking a walk in the dark.

Every meeting has his lot of surprises, and it does not always lead to what we want.

We were taking a walk in the dark
Looking how to light that little spark
that could show us all there was to see
and finally become what deep inside we wanted to be
but maybe what we were hoping for were just illusions
that fooled us in our own confusion
maybe our ways didn't cross each other
and we just happened to be in a narrow path together
and so, we were always looking forward,
never dared to look behind, like cowards
As we know, we wouldn't be able to bear the sorrow
coming from the path we choose not to follow
and so, we continue our walk into the fog of uncertainty

letting our lives be ruled by the threads of destiny.

Hi, this is one of the writing i actually wrote in my free time, i actually do not have a lot of experience in writing, and English is not my native language, so it may have numerous flaws, but please do enjoy, and review my work, because i do wish to become better at this ^^
