like a diamond in the sky
alone and far away
how I wish I could fly
from side to side I would sway
like the wind in the tree
all I wish is to be free
bound by these shackles
in my mind I hear its cackles
grounded in place
I will turn to hide my face
with my cheeks stained
I am full of disdain
unworthy and unneeded
alone and stuck in my fears
my eyes are filled with unseen tears
with arms hung limply broken
my will all but forsaken
all I ever do
is to wait for you
