Waiting, on the other side of the mirror

I see you behind the mirror.
Just smiling and glancing back at me.
A tear falls down both our eyes.
Me in the left and you on the right.

We spent little time but it was wonderful.
I sometimes was harsh and crude.
But you understood my point.

No matter what you do
No matter where you go
No matter when
I shall be your friend now and always
