the reflection on the other side
is never the same
no matter how hard you tried
you paint the picture
for all to see
then send it out to sea
the reflection on the other side
is the life you must abide
when you ran
it followed you
onto the plane
and up as it flew
you knew it was there
looking all around
you hear nothing
not a peep
not one sound
the reflection on the other side
you can never escape it
no matter how long you hide.
