A poem about wanting the person you love back after you've hurt them.

Forgive me, I’m sorry

Let me wipe away the tear from your eye

I’d do anything for you to stay

Don’t go, don’t let this be goodbye

 

It’s my fault, I’m sorry

I had to do what had to be done

I beg you not to end

What has only just began

 

Come closer, I’m sorry

Give me one more chance to make it okay

Let me hold you one more time

And the pain I’ve caused will go away
