Not everything is what it might at first seem

UNDER THE INFLUENCE

 

Under the influence of too much wine

And other substances

Last night I lied to you

 

Occasionally I just need to be alone

Is that too much to ask

?

To be alone, for heavens sake

With just a single line

Of a poem I may never write
