Difficult question to answer.
I would say that you do your best to be the next great father.
Whether it be to your own children or as a mentor/figure for the generation behind us to follow.

We do feel a terrible sense of loss when our parents pass away. We move up a step on the ladder of life. We have to become adults even if we are not ready. So very emotional, Neville. You say so much in just a few words. Lydi**

Of course it would, reality is much more painful than poetic expression.

If the poet or writer is any good at his/her craft then the reader should not necessarily be able to make any distinction whatsoever between what is true and what might be fabricated.........N
