Pushing Against The Wind

Pushing Against The Wind

A Poem by Neville
"

A reasonably straightforward and otherwise subjectively at least, unoffensive rant with just a hint of.......

"

Pushing Against The Wind

Pushing against the wind

One step forward two steps back

Then wait

All is calm except for tail end breezes

I search for a sign

Knowing the trail may well end here

Nevertheless

I still look around

Toward where the grail might be found

Each elusive golden fleece

Push against the wind

My bouncing dark haired beauty

Still young but yet so very old

How much we have to learn

Push against the wind

That bleeding shoving overpowering storm

Enjoy these winter crops

Wipe the tear from your eye

Let most of you be part of me

.
