Far Too Many Secrets

Far Too Many Secrets

A Poem by Neville
"

It's the Gods honest truth guv'nor, I swear

"

Far Too Many Secrets

There are far too many

Secrets

There are far too many

Lies

But not yet enough water

Flowed

Beneath the bridge of

Sighs

To wash away

Dilute

Or otherwise disguise

The guilt

The pain

The anguish

Of which we both despise

There are far too many

Secrets

There are far too many

Lies

But not yet enough

Refuse containers

To take away

Dump

Or otherwise dispose

The garbage

Waste and slurry

Which we both rigorously disown

...

I loved this Neville particularly the rigorously disowned garbage! A little bitter sweet even with the inch of salt :)
