No Ordinary Wife

 

As

We passed

On the escalator

I very near drowned

In the blue of her eyes

As she turned around and casually said

For you I shall never be just an ordinary wife

For you my love I will always remain an eternal surprise

 

 

Author's Note

I have always been fascinated by pyramids, both inside and out. Oh' and almost all of these words here are spot on, except for the colour of her eyes. My wife's eyes are actually 'amber brown' but that did not look right in print or flow. Cheers, N
