Slipping Away

Slipping Away

A Poem by Neville

Slipping Away

Stuck here in my own private autumn

Old friends slip quietly away

Like leaves from withered branches

Against a backcloth of decay

There can be no other motive

I have little more to say

Stuck here in my personal autumn

While old friends just slip quietly away
