Behind Those VinesA Poem by NevilleThese are not just words, this place is real, take my word for it......Behind Those
Vines Somewhere behind
those Cultivated vines and further still Beyond the old
stone wall There is a place
I left my heart Then further
still A hundred paces maybe more A gold capped
tower stands And smiles down on those of them Who wait and
stare in awe The fools he
prophesised Still then on bended
knees They mumble
prayers and clutch Their rosaries Disciples one and all Behind those
vines Dust settles
slowly in the square While white doves circle overhead And those that
still stare up in awe Shall take that as a
