You must have a lot of nightingales in your garden to promise away like that, and they probably inspire you to write some of the best poems! The versatility of your wonderful writing capacity is amazing.

Last time I filled in a space like that, it was if the earth moved - and, it near buried me!! If you were a woman you'd be called a temptress - as it is, you're a wee devil!! Happy Thirst-day, Neville.
I was drawn in by the title. I just wonder how many nightingales it takes to make up a handful. I do wager they aren't easy to catch. ;)

Hmmm I think I need help sleeping but mine is from pain I am suffering... If I feel like needing nightingales then I will let you know.. Thanks for sharing
You took me back to the work place Neville. Oh, I have to agree it is indeed infinitely harder pretending to stay awake during dull meetings than it is to fall asleep. But you keep asking the reader to take your word, that means we have to trust you before we get that gift of nightingales. The crescent moon and the garden is a wonderful combination. I am smiling at your interactive poem and wondering whether anyone is gonna give you their phone number? You certainly write some interesting and wacky stuff As I have said before, when you post, I never know what's coming next and you admit that your imagination gets the better of you sometimes. Maybe you are a hypnotist helping with sleep problems?
