Talk about damaged

I’ve known mirrors cracked

Less broken

 

Talk about needy

I have nothing more to give

So let’s talk about nothing

 

Talk about angry

I can listen without limit

But drugs are not the answer

 

Talk about forgiving

I think it’s far too late for that

So why not take up knitting

 

Talk about teasing

I call it lying

But you hide it well

Plenty of talking going on here between two. Communication is really important for resolving issues. There is also much listening as well, and I have to agree that drugs aren't the answer. Sometimes you need to walk away and get a breather, but there comes a point when the talking is over and so is the relationship. Seven years bad luck for cracked mirrors. (not for metaphors though).
