Someone once prayed for me Nev, but they only got an answer machine message saying something about they were fully booked until after the rapture, when hell freezes over.
Beautifully written Sir, but please dont try this at home on my behalf, as it might just change your destination too 😀

I love the imagery! I think you did an excellent job and I’m new with this so forgive the amateurishness of my review. But I am intrigued by angels, mortality and have dealt with a lot of depression but love the natural world as you speak of it in poetic terms it reminds me a bit of John Keats. I think you should keep going and keep pursuing because in my nascent mind I feel that you have a natural talent so please get back to me and let me know if I helped her I didn’t help. Blessed be and have a wonderful week

So moving Neville on so many levels. Prayer, sage and incense for healing and protecting- God and primal- you paint a picture of a loving “company of angels” interceding for the proud but “broken” one among them. Your elegant words and lyrical verses evoke the power of family and friends here. Under the inviolate ancient Yew tree, they stand off the Reaper. The imagery is spiritual, natural and profound. Futile? Never. Amen to their love. Superb work Neville.

The burning of sage and incense sticks, ancient rituals which have been proven to be scientifically sound. Good for cleansing, dispersing negative energy, and healing. In the company of loved ones, who are saying their prayers for healing to keep the reaper away. Second stanza sets the scene. Poignant and much love comes through, the He in this poem is very much loved. Lovely work Neville, you produced some great imagery and evoked a fair bit of emotion as well. There is something special about saying prayers for someone out loud while in their company.
