Hungry Valley

Hungry Valley

A Poem by Neville
"

Swallow me whole he begged... Photographic image is of my bit of that valley....

"

Hungry Valley

Somewhere off the beaten track

Without a land mark

Map or grid reference to guide us

The Thracian Valley it did rise up and

Then it did devour us

Lamb and potatoes preceded by beet soup, anyone?
Would that require a red, white, or rose wine?

Oh my. What a place to get lost. Fantastic photograph. I trust that the devouring was done when you were sober? Isn't that where all the wines come from? How long did it take to find ya way out or did you have to be rescued? Brevity,in this case which makes the mind wander and ask questions :)

Beautiful Neville! Love the archaic reference. You're such a wonder- childlike but a maestro when you care to be one.
