like the first kiss, first touch... like the purest of Love, real love touches us once, again and again... and many many moons to come, why not dear Neville, revealing that very special side of You from time to another, this was the purest loveliness to read.
So, my dear friend Neville, you were once a virgin girl? Imagine that! LOL Seriously, though, this is so gentle and tender...very romantic. You have captured the emotions of a young woman so well. Lovely. Lydi**

That familiar feeling of excitement coupled with anticipation, some times overwhelms the heart. Every time it happens, it feels like a brand new sensation and drives senses wild. You will never, never get old of it or know how to get hold of it either my friend!

Age is but a fragment of the imagination- butterflies lie dormant to flutter again- the right one awakens all - such a beautiful feeling to feel all flutterbied up inside- 🌹

a luverly word flutterbied and from a luverly lady too... must be my flutty day :)
Your poem reminds me of a young Margie I'd almost forgotten . . . I was a severe blusher . . . my cheeks would burn like fire whenever I was feeling fluttery inside! Your message brings back that intense innocence in such a feeling-provoking way! Oh to be fluttery once again! (((NUGS))) Fondly, Margie

a nice feeling tho and oh' to be that catalyst... bless ya Margie and true... NUGS a plenty..
For someone who has suffered much, it is a revelation when the flutter recurs. My favourite Tarantinoism is his take on Madonna's "True Blue" versus "Like a Virgin" -- this one is "True Blue"

then I shall be gentle..., very gentle... thank you Lyn... N
I like that soft side of men that they don't like to show because they think it reduces their masculinity. Your lines dear Neville remind me of some of the great romantics in classical literature. Take Lord Byron, and his "When we two parted in silence and tears". Take Gabriel Oak in Far from the Madding Crowd. Heathcliffe in Wuthering Heights, you get my drift. If your heart hasn't danced so much since you were young and naive, I would say you are a bloomin lucky feller, or alternatively let me sup whatever is in your cup. If you have enough of it, bottle it and sell it. You'd make a mint :)
