Hit Me

Hit Me

A Poem by Neville

Hit Me

Hit me

Like a freight train

Out the blue

This is my reality

Without you

I would have never

Not in a million years

Known such a

Black Heart

Cruel joke

Toxic waste of space

A glorious vacuum

End of story

That is one hell of a forceful first stanza Neville. She had quite an impact, ( please excuse the pun). Vacuums are indeed empty space. They can be replaced by something much better or dare I say it, if you are unlucky then by something far worse. Have you summed up a whole relationship in one short poem?
