The placing of a comma can change the whole meaning of a sentence. I have seen some wonderful examples of that. You know that as well as I do. If you choose not to use them, that's because you want to provide options for your reader. You did this recently in one of your poems. I read it the way I wanted to interpret it. To comma or not to comma, that is the question :)) Good early mane Neville.

lol I hope You are not speaking about me here I tend many times to use the punctuation marks as I want not as they are supposed to be it might be a crime to literature but I've done worse than that lol leave no commas and let all the possibilities be opened good idea! You see as You have done I've done it here too ;)
