Any Colour @ All

Any Colour @ All

A Poem by Neville

Any Colour @ All

Hey you

Don’t go

Changing colours

At least not yet

I need to see you

In the pink

My precious

Gold and green

Before I die

Hey you

Don’t go

Chasing colours

The way you

Used to do

We are way

Off camera babe

I know

Just how much

You need

To be watched

Relax my little one

Come enjoy

The gentle pressure

Of these calloused

Finger tips

Then let my tongue

Show you how

And where to bleed

Hey you

There really is

No other

Quite like you

Maybe going blind

Is no such

Bad thing after all

I shall miss them tho

Those colours

That remind me

So very much of you

This speaks to me of youthful primary colours, which in turn change to watercolour, before wisdom (or age) brings us all we need from charcoal etchings. in youth, we are a bag of skittles, in the now, a burst bag of liquorice in a coat pocket full of fluff and lint.
Wow, I should maybe have had breakfast before reviewing this and bumming us all out :)
Hmm, weetabix or lucky charms :)

Nothing's black or white, there's more grey than anything and then the pink clouds the issue. The true colours the vibrants of nature are the ones that stay. Some commands, an invitation and a declaration here Neville. All good on a Sunday afternoon.

Wistful, and longing, a little romance and a little naughty all rolled in one. Like the lovely colours we've come to expect from you.:)

looking through rose colored glasses at love...but when we grow up, become less naive..the colors become more black and white and we miss them...and her.
