Truth

although it maybe hiding, it is always there.. one just has to look harder

Truth  

 

Without any doubt

Those tiny specks

And droplets we each

So generally ignore

 

Those we take for

Granted  

Until our backs are up

Against the wall

 

Assume a value and

A purpose worth

Far more than any

Gold or gems even

Is truth really something that is hidden and has to be searched out? A politician's truth is worthless. A trusted friend's truth would be considered priceless. You wouldn't expect a trusted friend to lie to you. A politician can be economical with it, whilst an enemy is capable of telling blatant lies. The interesting thing your poem speaks to me about, is just whose truth is worth believing. Your short poem Neville has great depth and raises many different issues. A thought provoking write.

yes, truth is worth more than gold....and lies pile up like fools gold and come back to bite us in the end..often even the little ones.
