On Finding Truth

On Finding Truth

A Poem by Neville
"

things happen when ya least expect em to....

"

On Finding Truth

It was while out seeking

Moments

He did stumble and find

Truth

Although now fading

He did see fit to save it

To a single page

Henceforth he shall be

Remembered

Not as a lover or a legend

But as a poet who once

Poemed and penned both

Love and universal truths

Hello Neville, I feel sure you will be remembered and for far more than your brilliant poetry. I too am often enlightened by what I stumble upon and when least expected. Your author's quote - he got more than he bargained for it seems, dark but left me amused.

The author's note made me laugh my head off, btw, but the poem was lovely and calm. Nicely done.

Well what' do ya know.. thank you kindly.... Neville
I read it, then re-and re- read it... it's fate, it's destined for Him to be a poet, found that truth and walked in that belief, a most gorgeous, brilliant and moving words dearest Neville, "Not as a lover or a legend... Love and universal truths" how beautiful is that? though it holds sadness of loneliness, but it's still beautiful of the divine kind, some of Your thoughts touch me to my core~ even when I can't be here as often, I still think of my wonderful friend Neville :)

Love and universal truths....if only every poet could be remembered for penning such things. If only. We can only hope. That author's note is a bit of black comedy for sure. Lydi**
