if she only would ..just light that simple little candle ... ;) cream and blue! grabs me attention matey .. very unique ... kind of leaves me puzzling in the dark ... tragic loss when one can not read the other's poetry .. and almost death when one can not sing anymore ... for me this is an interesting twisting down love lorn's lane :(( definitely strikes a mood with me ..

aint stopped smilin since I felt ya read me the first time..... shine on my brother... :)))))
Amazing how something that strikes me as sad is also so beautiful. It was a rapid aging for me----aging to death and knowing I was loved. It was a quite death, a smile on my face. Loved this one!
I hope the wave of melancholy that made you write this heartrending poem left you now my dear friend. I felt sadness beyond words reading this poignant composition. Your impressive, exceptional talent is striking, Neville. Espero que tudo está ótimo com você Querido.

I'm not allowed to play with lighters, since "the incident", but if a grown up comes along, I'll ask them to for ya. Can't wait. Haven't done shadow puppets in... weeks. 😀

didn't we meet in one of them long corridors just off ward 13a some time back....
I LOVE THIS POEM! The yearning is so palpable, seemingly attired in a poetic chant, a formal request. This feels like it's been written by someone who's usually laced up tight, but who occasionally lets 'er rip, with regard to an outpouring of feeling (((SHRUGS))) Fondly, Margie

By Jove she's got it...... cheers BG me luverly.... N
What a moving plea, Neville. Triggers the heart and head. Makes me recall those feelings a time or two. “Rightly wrongly but not in vain..” is the ideal final line for this poem.

the fact you showed up means an awful lot to me my friend...
' Would you burn one for me too, I once preferred both cream and blue. Come on sweetheart, burn one just for me.'
Beautiful words but such sad thoughts and i suspect, reasons, for them. There are times when light is desperately needed to help keep things together. Here, dear friend, you've shown what we all desperately need at times, whether urgently or tentatively because of character. Candles lit are for the precious one being thought of.. the one with the match.. those willing to share.
