Remarkably Unfinished

Remarkably Unfinished

A Poem by Neville

Remarkably Unfinished

Discover me

She said

Then celebrate

Each

Find you make

Along

The way and

Mark them

With a x

Oh’ yes she said

Explore

And contemplate

Each

Rise and fall

Each turn and curve

Each

Cleft and crease

And subtle dip

Examine me

With fingertips

And eyes and lips

Then

Let me go and freely

How sensual this is. I found myself following those fingertips, eyes and lips. Such close scrutiny and then the end lines. This dame is not for taming. She will not be caged. Free as our avian friends to roam and land when and where she pleases.

Such intensity in love and yet I love how you drive home into the reader that to love is not to hold but to free.

.......... That'll do nicely Pat, thank you & true :)
'Remarkably unfinished.' How much more fulfilling is that, as compared to when all has been discovered and nothing is left to imagination and memory.

This is both sensuous and so very insightful.

thank you my friend .. much appreciated :)
Personal and filled with a female's private invitations the feel of your last lines along with the title betrays any permanence -- - yet on further reading I see special closeness in "celebrate each find you make" "then let me go freely" so even if but for a short while those moments will never be lost if held in the memory - - - a most moving write Nev.

Good to have another read of this most sensual write, but also with the knowledge this time, this beautiful free spirit is now a dust mote, dancing for eternity in the heavens. That is so sad, but she leaves you with lovely memories and is forever captured and framed for all to read and visualise in your beautiful poetry.
