Magic! This is fantasy at its best, truly is. Perhaps you could create as wonderful a painting as you have a very visual poem, Neville. There are so many directions your quite 'enigmatic' words could go. Sunshine thoughts of islands on a day like today but sad in a way unless - both good swimmers.

Lots to think about here in this excellent four line brevity. You had me singing along first of all with Dolly and Kenny, Islands in the stream. However, the tune was much too upbeat for the meaning here for me. I thought united we stand divided we fall. Relationships eh? The final line here is all important, because when most people divide and separate the not making waves goes out the window, so the final line tells me of the importance of not inflicting hurt. That is noble. Islands can be beautiful, so is not hurting others.

I see this as both life and also seperation. we all walk through life but each one of us has his/her own way and own purpose, harmony between us all is the best to create the goodness and make greater things. I see also this as the speration between two lovers considering the last line here. they separate with mature attitude to not cause break or pain for niether of them. Lol I hope I am not going so far here.
