Dull jeweled and understated, yet immaculately silver sheened

Always looking backward over shoulders to where it once had been

Sought after by so many, but oh’ so very rarely seen ..

I thought I memorized this word from my time of working with animals...such a beautiful, yet interesting little bird. From Greek mythology if I remember right? Such an interesting little trick that they can turn their heads around as far as they do..
