Etna

Tis true I tell ya ...

Etna

 

 

She was once, so very, very hot

and she knew it ..

The boys then, called her Etna

and for a while

she would let them all lavat her

But then of course

 

she also knew, she could make

each one of them

erupt just like good old Vesuvius

I have visited Sicily and walked the slopes of Etna. I made the mistake of wearing shorts and felt cold, yet my feet were warm. The heat from the lava of past eruptions was still there. I can vouch for that myself. Not long after I saw a news clipping of her in vivid flow. My was she angry and hot. Red hot. You know this is a very visual poem and is steeped in metaphor of an x rating. Good morning Neville.

I've been there too Chris, helped out a few years ago with the survivors of one of her hot blasts .. but believe it or not, get this, this particular little scribble was entirely inspired by a lass I knew a very, very, very long time ago ............ I hope your visit to them today did not 'int-erupt' your enjoyment of this Saturday .. Oops n thank you our Chris :)
