A Few Moments After

 

Only a few moments

afterwards ..

When she had finally

caught up

with her breath again ..

She scratched

an upside down arch

in the sand

with her finger ..

Right next to where

only a moment

before, they had both

just been laying

or maybe,

it might have been ..

The making

of a smile perhaps .. x

That's an excellent line, 'when she had finally caught up with her breath again'. Love it! The upside down arch connects the two with the line of a smile. Maybe it's a bowl to catch the sands of time. Possibly the 'u' in I love you. Now I've got that famous scene from the movie 'From Here to Eternity' in mind.
