in all the wrong places

Wide eyed and with so much to fear

 

With frost in the air and no pennies

 

to spare ..

Each praying, for a happy New Year

You know times are really hard. Pinched faces tell a story of hunger, cold, poverty and illness. There will be plenty of people this year of all years suffering as a result of rising prices for food and energy. I think there will be many prayers for a happy new year, but I can’t see that there will be much difference.

Then of course there is Ukraine and the suffering there is on another scale altogether.

In a few well chosen words you remind most of us that we have nothing to complain about. A most thoughtful write Neville.
