light-hearted maybe but true .. posted here today with Johnnie C in mind since we were recently talking about Monterey

The Things One Remembers

 

It was either New Orleans or in

old Monterey where a

crawfish jumped out of the pot

and made a clean getaway

On reflection, it’s funny what one

might remember on a

cold winter day, like today, when

delirious with a Covid viral

infection and nowt else much to say

I was gonna call this either Freedom or Delirium but there are others here somewhere with those titles already ..

I hope you are fully recovered now Neville. It is both strange and amusing what we can dream when illness strikes. I wanted to cheer for that crawfish who made an escape from the pot to freedom. Can’t be much fun being boiled alive and then eaten. Nice you travel in your dreams to where Johnnie C is .
