and mark well

the stillness

of night my love ..

Hark, as it

carries the sound

of our ghosts

as they do laugh

and they

dance together

upon the surface

of water,

like sunlight, yet

ten times more

invisible

to the naked eye

and even

more silent than

your unspoken

thoughts

would have us

imagine ..

And fear not

those who would

otherwise

devour us for it also

serves to hide us

amongst

its many folds ..

So pray

take note

and mark well

the goodness

 

and purpose of it ..

While also,

allowing us to dream ..
