But those were the Rayban days

weren’t they, when mascaraed eyelashes were

the rage and reasons were superfluous ..

This has a decided seventies feel to it. Acid trips and maybe other trips to the west country. Grockles and emmets names given by the locals in Devon and Cornwall probably to irritating visitors. I can see those well coated lashes looking like spiders and of course your favourite sunglasses. Those were the days my friend. Another trip. This one down nostalgia lane Neville. Good morning.

Grockles and emmets!!! 😃
Reminds me of when we first came up north and people suddenly hushed at the sound of our west of Scotland voices. It took until lockdown for them to stop calling us the townies or outsiders...or worse, but alas we'll that ends well now... but I bet they still say it behind our backs! 😃
