Upon the Mending of a Broken ManA Poem by NevilleUpon
the Mending of a Broken Man Armed only with a handful of old prayers, pheasant tail feathers and dry fern fronds .. She set upon the task of mending a very broken man .. She toiled at night by candlelight while the others slept, as was their right, albeit fitfully .. For she, was so intent upon the mending of a very broken man indeed .. And she would not rest until with skill and just a touch of magic .. She had mended him wholly and seamlessly .. And he again, might lay beside her as a lover and the father of their children .. © 2023 NevilleFeatured Review
