The Pros and the Cons of a Thick Wooly Pully

 

 

The wooly pully hid her curves

not that she had many

  

but hid it did and hid them well ..

 

So yes, she hides her figure

  

just in case you might be wondering ..

  

She’s far too scared to flaunt it ..

 

Knowing all too well, a single look

may serve to kill, it keeps her

warm, on cold winter nights though ..

 

Yet does nothing whatsoever

to protect her from probing, prying eyes

and the crazy, clutching claws of jealous lovers ..

because poetry is not just about fluffy pink bunnies and red silken bows .. its about reality as well ..

You know I read this three times Neville and went away to think about it. There is actually much depth to this write.

I have actually come to the conclusion that there are many predators around. The she in this write who wraps herself when cold in a thick wooly pulIy has got her head screwed on right.

That doesn’t mean to say though that she is safe, because there are dangers everywhere.

That last stanza sent a shiver down my spine.

There was nothing soft and fluffy in this write apart from that jumper she was wearing.

Well writ Neville. Well writ. The only con in this is wearing a thick wooly pully on a hot summer day.

Wait, reality???? When did that happen? So, goodbye fluffy pink bunnies and red silken bows? Reality, really? You mean like a woman who is beautiful, has a very nice shape but tends to hide it with oversized clothing because she doesn't see herself as others do? You mean that kind of reality...you mean we have to write about Thick Wooly Pullys and motorcars with faux leather seat covers?

I get this my friend, pardon my feeble attempt at humor, I like this a lot.
