never give up, its not over till the fat lady sings ..

When a Diet Does a Fat Lot of Good

not surprisingly perhaps,

she just knew

it would be a good day

when she eventually

stopped asking herself

whether or not

it mattered that much,

if the all too

familiar thread veins

and the weight

gain she had packed on

during winter ..

which was perhaps not

surprisingly,

a poor excuse, could not

somehow be

halted, sucked away and

worked off ..

or at least, spread around

a little bit then

redistributed and shed ..

eating disorders of whatever kind invariably suck & have many causal factors, but should never be treated lightly ..

So many suffer from eating disorders and I feel sure that the situation has gotten far worse from the media attention given to young people in having perfect bodies. Often portrayed as stick insects. Such a sad situation and can become so dangerous and life threatening. It’s sad that people can’t accept the way they are. The media could help here by portraying people at healthy weights. A lesson here for all to be aware of Neville.
