Let's Play Sushi

 

She lounged like

a reptile

lounges, draped

and long

beside the hastily

discarded

kimono and pink

 

flip flops ..

Soaking up those

excess rays

and smiling behind

 

the shades ..

Today she is a slick

lichen

green chameleon

with an

opal pinned to each

of those

  

shell like ears of hers ..

Sipping slow

on chilled rice wine

and playing

chase around a china

dinner plate

 

with her lovers sushi ..

Chasing sushi, a green chameleon. What a seductress. You know those opals pinned to each shell like. ….I’m sure my Nan told me years ago that opals are unlucky. You must be on holiday. I am missing your presence here. Hope you are back soon Neville.

Good evening our Chris, funnily enough my Grandma told me the very same thing .. I am now back from the most amazing cruise .. it took twenty days to reach Brazil and only twelve hours to fly back .. I celebrated my birthday in Rio .. and got my certificate for crossing the equator which I shall keep in a drawer and peek at every now and again .. Many thanks for suck kind sentiments..
