I so want

to drown in those

big brown,

caramel eyes,

of yours ..

Oh’ but oh so

very slow indeed ..

Oh’ yes,

I so want to feel

myself melting

and deeply ..

All the way down

to that,

stricken lost soul

of yours ..

Where I might

just be permitted

to dispense

once and for all

with this searching ..

To discard

the weight of my

longing

and to finally feel,

for once at least,

that innermost

Beautiful poetry. I have two brown eyed girls. My daughter and my granddaughter and yes, they have eyes that can melt the heart. You also reminded me of that lovely song about brown eyed girls. Brown dominates. All my grandkids have brown eyes.

My children , grandchildren and great grandchildren all have blue eyes ... so i never really gazed into anything else...
