Right here and now,

how I ache

for that afterwards feeling ..

That post

love making,

easy

just being here and now

with you,

kind of feeling ..

The kind

you

might read about in posh

magazines ..

Or after

a full English

for breakfast ..

And

then maybe,

just sipping a few cold beers

on a balcony,

with a real good friend

and maybe a cigarette ..

Or what

about that

last day of school,

kind of feeling,

like falling in love all over again ..

Then

there’s that

dreamy

almost awake,

part asleep kind of feeling ..

When you

find without looking

the fiver you

always knew

that you had in a pocket ..

But could not

locate it until you had

savoured

that afterwards feeling again ..

These are all wonderful examples of things of value in life, that don’t cost anything yet they can raise the spirits no end. The feel good or even better, feel great factor. Easy living. I can resonate with all of them Neville except for the cigarette. I have never been a smoker. The poem made me pause and reflect on some of my own examples. Wishing you plenty of those afterwards feelings to make your life fulfilled and give you easy, contented living. Have a super Saturday my friend.
